Recessional
This portion of the ceremony defines the ambiance of the wedding. As your guests are seated in anticipation of the ceremony they will enjoy the bride and grooms selection of classical and romantic pieces.
The ceremony begins when the officiant, groom and groomsmen enter, followed by the parents of the groom and then the mother of the bride. The entrance of the mother of the bride is greeted by standing guests. The music, which defines this portion of the ceremony is usually quiet, subdued and romantic.
The bride's processional begins with everyone standing. Bridesmaids, followed by the ring-bearer / flower girl and maid of honor precede the bride. Traditionally the Bride enters with her own music.

After the kiss and the officiant’s introduction of the couple they lead the wedding party down the isle. The music, which defines the recessional, is traditionally majestic.
